Possible Duck Republic Jerseys Set

Off season has been kind of dead lately with Ducks news to cover. So I thought well maybe it may be a good thing to start talking about jersey designs. There are 2 sets that I've taken the time to think about and try to do research on the jerseys. Different styles, color schemes. The old and new colors, it wasn't easy and it's not as easy with the Ducks.

That reason being because the Ducks has a certain curve in their jerseys that is hard to replicate or change. It's iconic within their jersey system. The ideas that stood out to was what colors should go where and why. The style I chose is still the style the Ducks have, but from their past jersey pattern. Taking that same style, adding some additional tweaks was something I thought would stand out. The overall process with the shoulders, I like the old 3 color striping, no, not that Adidas striping, oh god awful. The striping where it's back in the days of how jerseys were better made in certain areas of style. Ducks jerseys were nothing by far, from the best out of any team.

Why? We have a pattern with our jerseys that other teams don't have. Our stripes on the jerseys are very iconic, colors and logos. So I wanted to some way honor that in these sets. I also wanted to throw in the throwback colors since everyone has been asking for throwing back colors.

On the jersey collar you will notice the DR logo. Duck Republic is a brand, I don't intend to go crazy and have logos everywhere like Adidas or Reebok. Plus the shoulder patches will have Duck Republic on them as well as the saying Defenders Of The Pond.

Since 2006-2007 when the Anaheim Ducks became a new branded team, many miss the old days. The Disney inspired team has surely changed over the years and not just players. Jerseys, logos, Ducks fans have seen some mighty changes to the classic Mighty Ducks logo. It's come and gone and for the most part this upcoming season we may believe it will stay.

Since 2015 when the Ducks debuted an all orange sweater, at time it was Reebok. Then the Ducks 25th season rolled around, and we saw a match made in heaven jersey. The classic colors were back, the old logo was back with a hint of orange. The side patches well let's not get ahead of ourselves here. How you see it the Ducks maybe very well be bringing another Mighty look back. Yes I said back, you know once was now is again?

You see the 2015 jersey seems to be in resurrection. Remember when Gordon Bombay said “Ducks Never Say Die” well that's what you have here Ducks fans except with a jersey. Orange never dies according to the Ducks marketing and creative staff that is.

Reports from @BBush1981 on Twitter which has now been taken down. The Ducks maybe bringing back the 3RD orange jersey from what they had in 2015. There is an image that went along with the Buffalo Sabres and Vancouver Canucks and it looks like the Ducks jersey has been leaked.

Now I'm not saying the jersey is not well put together, however with the jersey the Ducks came out last season for their 25th season. I strongly believe that we could have done a bit better at coming up with a better style and not going back to the same elements from 2015. So I came up with a Design myself.

I strongly feel that if we bring back the old style and new colors it may just be for the better. We can use the logo from the 2015 year as our main crest and add the old secondary crest that the Ducks use to have back in the day. All the elements of the Mighty Ducks just more of an upgrade.
